SMOKE ON THE WIND
Having spent some time in the West direction of the Medicine Wheel, looking within ourselves, getting more focused in our prayer time, we can now move on to the next direction, the North direction.
The teaching of the North direction is wisdom – spiritual wisdom. Spiritual wisdom comes after we have spent some time in introspection, dwelling on how we pray and give thanks for our many blessings, how we treat our fellow humans and all of God’s creation. It is very important to say our gratitude prayers and prayers for world peace, and to always remember to forgive those who have trespassed against us.
Okay, now as we stand in the North direction of our Medicine Wheel, we shall be given the spiritual gift of Wisdom. Example: We may hear the birds sing like never before, and we will know that God has sent them to us as a blessing and for spiritual upliftment for our Earth walk. We are wise and will have new wisdom each and every day if we remember to always pray.
People will stop saying to you, “Have a nice day.” It will be written in your heart and upon your face that you are. They will start saying to you, “Wow! You are obviously having a good day.”
You can answer them by saying, “Thank you, and you will also, when you remember to pray each and every day.”
I will pray for you and you pray for me and you and I will each have a God-centered, blessed day.
Now that, my friends, is the North direction of Wisdom upon the Medicine Wheel.
Next we will travel to the East direction.
