ETHEL B. BAEHLER, 98
ETHEL B. BAEHLER, 98, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Towne House Retirement Community. Her family remembers her as a devoted wife and a warm, loving mother and grandmother, who nurtured them and shaped their lives.
She was a lifelong member of the Waynedale United Methodist Church and treasured the many friendships she made in the church community.
She is survived by two sons, Walter (Margaret) of Madison, New Jersey and Gary (Mary) of Lake Arrowhead, Wisconsin; one daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Spadafore of Temeculah, California; four grandchildren, Greg Spadafore, Jeff Spadafore, Kristy Swetz and Kyle Baehler; and two step-grandchildren, Michelle and Robert Giddens.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Harold.
Funeral service was 2 p.m. Monday at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church St., Fort Wayne. Visitation was from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials to North East Reading Services, Parkview Hospice or Waynedale United Methodist Church. Interment in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
