BEVERLY JUNE DIXON, 74

BEVERLY JUNE DIXON, 74, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born on June 4, 1932, in Anderson, Indiana. She worked as a Dental Assistant since 1949, and retired from the office of Dr. James C. Potts after 17 years there, in 1999. She was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa and Dental Assistants Association.

Surviving are her cousins, Neal Davis of Sebastopol, California, Sharon Dotson of Indianapolis and Ann Hazen of Evansville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Dixon, in 1986.

Funeral service was Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church St., Fort Wayne, with visitation also on Thursday. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial, Fort Wayne.

Memorials to Waynedale United Methodist Church Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
