OPERATION KIDS SITE SEEN IN WAYNEDALE
Foster Park Lions have been busy with their Operation Kids Site Project in the Waynedale area.
Volunteers from the Lions Club took photos of children’s eyes at both Waynedale Methodist Preschool and at Mount Calvary Lutheran Preschool. These photos are then sent to Indianapolis where they can determine if the child has any defects that can be corrected before they reach the age of six. Each photo costs the Lions $5.00 to be read. No cost to the child.
This project is funded partially by their December Citrus Fruit and Christmas Tree Sales, giving back to the community.
