WAIKEL, JACK L

WAIKEL, JACK L, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, November 8, at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he was in the U.S. Navy in 1951 and served on the Submarine U.S.S. Bream. He was employed by the Fahlstaff Brewing as a driver and salesman and retired from Alco distributing in 1992.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Waikel, and one daughter Pamela (Bruce) Niemeyer of Rome City; a granddaughter, Shannon (Matt) Mergdoll, 2 Great Grandchildren, Paxton and Sierra; one brother, William Edward, and one sister, Betty Mudrack, both of Fort Wayne.

Funeral service was Saturday, November 11, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road.
