NOBLE C. HILTY, 86
NOBLE C. HILTY, 86, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, August 12, 2006, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born April 12, 1920, in Berne, he retired in 1981 from Norfolk & Western as an engineer. He was a member of American Legion Post #468, Berne and St. John Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Lori L. (Terry) Hardy of Huntington; son, Ronald C. (Faith) Hilty of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren, Abbie, Tiffany, Katie, Nicholas, Mitchell, Destiny and Bonnie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Schoeneman on December 23, 1985; parents, Christian and Della May Klopfenstein Hilty; brothers, Walter and Gordon Hilty; and sister, Ruth Grove.
Funeral service was Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, 729 West Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne. Visitation Wednesday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
Burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
