OPAL M. (SALE) BURNS, 83, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, April 7, 2006. Born June 18, 1922, in Hepburn, Ohio, she had previously worked at General Electric, Phelps Dodge and Fort Wayne Community Schools.
Survived by her daughters, Catherine M. (Alan) Dinger of Fort Wayne and Connie A. (Dan) Dierks of Schereville, Indiana; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Burns, in 1996. Private Service. There was no calling. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Arrangements by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
