MARTHA A. TAYLOR, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born June 1, 1924, in Allen County, she was a homemaker. She was Past President of American Legion Auxiliary Post 241; Past President of 4th District American Legion Auxiliary; member of 40 @ 8; and member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne H. Taylor of Fort Wayne; daughters, Merry Hahnert of Kendallville, Karen Cramar of Fort Wayne, Anna Wells of Kansas City, Missouri and Patricia Greve of Fort Wayne; stepdaughters, Linda Yoquelet of Fort Wayne and Ginny Hunter of Indianapolis; stepson, Steve Taylor of Fort Wayne; three sisters; two brothers; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Bly; stepson, Robert Taylor; and one brother.
Funeral service was Wednesday, March 27, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation was also at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
