HELEN V. BARRETT, 91, of Huntsville, Alabama, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Crestwood Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama. Born August 19, 1914, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Clarence V. Scott and Bessie (Decker). She worked for Magnavox and Rogers Market, retiring in 1963. She was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church and Unity Circle.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara (Alan) Montgomery of Huntsville, Alabama and Deborah (Larry) Childress of Florida; one sisters, Frances Borell of Green Bay; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Service was Monday, March 27, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. The Rev. Michael Harris officiating. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road.
