FRANKLIN DEWEY SHACKELS, 62

FRANKLIN DEWEY SHACKELS, 62, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, December 29, 2005, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Born March 11, 1943, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, he was a truck driver for Kelly Box, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Southwest Conservation Club and Waynedale Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing.

Survived by wife, Lois Ann Shackels of Fort Wayne; daughters, Karen (Steve) Andrews of Fort Wayne and Tina (Terry) Turner of Lawton, Oklahoma; sister, Shelby Jean (Harvey) Mays of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Amie and Sean Andrews of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patsy Shackels; and brother, Clarence Shackels.

Service was Thursday, January 5, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
