FRANK FULLER TROSTLE, 91

FRANK FULLER TROSTLE, 91 of Greenup, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at Cumberland Nursing Center in Greenup, Illinois. Frank was born December 10, 1914 in Jewett, Illinois, a son of George and Ida Belle (Vanderhoof) Trostle. He married Cora Mae “Pat” Baker on September 20, 1956.

Frank was a WWII Army veteran and a member of Woodbury United Methodist Church. He was a farmer and had also worked at Norge (Fedders) in Effingham, Illinois.

 

“God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you, and whispered come with me.
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.”

 

Frank is survived by his loving family; son Terry (Sharon) Trostle of Toledo, Illinois, daughters, Cheri (Tim) Pearce, also of Toledo, Francie Trostle of Olney, Illinois and Christy (Lee) Boswell of Montrose, Illinois; sister, Irene McCague of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Pat (Baker) Trostle; son, Thurman Dean Trostle; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Funeral service was Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the Bishop Funeral Home, Greenup, Illinois. Final resting place, Mullen Cemetery, Rural Montrose, Illinois.
