BARBARA BEERMAN NICHTER, 73, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, December 15, 2005, in Bluffton. Born July 26, 1932, in Fort Wayne, she was a graduate of Purdue University. She was a Pharmacist owner and operator of People’s Drug Store, in Monroeville. She served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hessen Cassel. Her hobbies include crossword puzzles.
Surviving are her husband, Robert A. of Fort Wayne; son, Loren D. (Naomi) Nichter of Fort Wayne; sister, Marilyn Dean of Tampa, Florida; brother, Norman Beerman of Tampa, Florida; grandsons, Lonny (Emily), Dustin, Terry, Brent and Brian Nichter, all of Fort Wayne; and great-grandson, Connor Nichter of Fort Wayne.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, December 19, at St. Joseph Catholic Church Hessen Cassel, 11337 Old US 27, Fort Wayne. Visitation was Sunday, December 18, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
