REV. AURELIUS OTTOMAR KALTWASSER, 99
REV. AURELIUS OTTOMAR KALTWASSER, 99, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, November 25, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born September 14, 1906, in Walberg, Texas, he served LCMS parishes in Texas, Missouri and Indiana for over 65 years. He also served at Bethlehem Lutheran, Ossian, was Lutheran Hospital Chaplain, also was a member and served at Trinity Lutheran on St. Marys Ave., Fort Wayne.
Survived by his son, Wayne A. Kaltwasser of Fort Wayne; daughters Jeanell J. (James) Peck of Barrington, Illinois, Dorthylyn J. (William) Evans of Cape Girardeau, Minnesota and Lanette R. (Rev Earl) Schmidt of Woubun, Missouri; half-brother Gilbert Kaltwasser of Farwell, Texas; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Helene Clara Kaltwasser, May 14, 2005; daughter Mary Dell Kaltwasser; and sister, stepsister and stepbrother.
Service was Wednesday, November 30, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1636 St. Marys Avenue, Fort Wayne. Calling was Tuesday, November 29, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
