The Zanesville United Methodist Youth would like to thank all of the sponsors of their recent golf outing. The golf outing was held on May 21, at Norwood Golf Course in Huntington. The outing was a fundraiser for the middle school and high school youth groups’ mission trips this summer and raised over $1700.00 for the two trips.

The middle school youth traveled to Niagara Falls, New York. They performed general home maintenance; cooked, cleaned, and served at a community kitchen; and worked with children at a YMCA.

In July, the high school youth group will travel to Copper Hill, Tennessee. The high school youth will be doing home renovation such as building wheelchair ramps, repairing leaking roofs, painting, and general maintenance.

The sponsors were Citywide Delivery, Crossroads Pantry in Markle and Waynedale, Jim Kelley Leasing New and Used Car Sales, Just Lucy!, MarkleBank, Mossburg Masonry, Real Estate Now, Shelton Family Maple Syrup, Shelton Financial Group, SMK Heating and Air Conditioning, Welches All Vehicle Repair, Zanesville United Methodist (ZUM) Men’s Group, ZUM Preschool, and ZUM Questor Class.

The youth mission trips would not have been possible without the generous support of these sponsors.
