Barefoot in the Park is a play that will have you laughing from start to finish and leave you with a warm tingling feeling.‑ It is a delightful show no matter how many times you see it. Robert Redford and Jane Fonda did the movie version and now Elmhurst High School will present the show live on stage on Friday, November 5 and Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 7:30 PM.‑ The newlyweds start out amorous but their relationship changes when they move into their first apartment with a broken window and no heat in the middle of February. Their apartment is five flights up in a New York brownstone building with eccentric neighbors like Victor Velasco who lives in the attic above them and uses their apartment and a ladder in the bathroom to get to his place.‑ The young bride, Corie, invites Velasco to meet her mother, Mrs. Banks, for an evening on the town for the couples.‑ The result is an evening of laughs for the audience and a must see in anybodies book.
