SOUTHTOWN BEGINS DEMOLITION

Bianchi Industrial Services started demolition at the L. S. Ayres building on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 after a brief ceremony by City Leaders and Representative Ben Giaquinta.

Bianchi’s contract calls for completion within 140 days, but earlier completion is likely.

Southtown Phase III includes plans to build a new Firestone building near their present building, probably in 2005, and continue in business.
