OPAL A. BERLIEN, 92
OPAL A. BERLIEN, 92, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, August 19, 2004, at Covington Manor Nursing Home. Born February 15, 1912, in Tocsin, she was the daughter of Irvin Wasson and Etta Sowards. She was a homemaker, member of Simpson United Methodist Church and O.E.S. 514 Star Of The East.
Surviving are one son, Bruce Berlien of Fort Wayne; one daughter, Sue Sprunger of Worthington, Ohio; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Berlien, in 1974; and parents.
Service was Monday, August 23, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
Preferred memorials to Simpson United Methodist Church.
