PAUL H. BEERMAN, 80
PAUL H. BEERMAN, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004. Born September 9, 1923, in Fort Wayne, he was a salesman for Kirby, Niagra and Sears. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and Purple Heart Recipient. He was a member of American Legion Post 241 and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Paul loved his family and friends and never knew a stranger. He was an avid reader who loved the great outdoors and always had an interesting story to tell. He will be greatly missed by those he left behind, including his faithful dog, Baxter.
Surviving are his wife, Hannah Jones of Fort Wayne; son, Paul L. (Ann) Beerman of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Paulana Beerman, and Paulette “Peachie” (Jerry) Rauner, both of Fort Wayne, and Patty (Les) Martz of Angola; five grandchildren, Ashley, Jerica, Garrett, Lindsey and Matthew.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Bob, Rex, Bill, Donald, and sister, Joan. Service was Monday, July 26 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Graveside military service was by American Legion Post 241 at Poe Williamsport Cemetery.
