OTTO B. FULTZ, 97
OTTO B. FULTZ, 97, of Huntington, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Heritage of Huntington. Born October 10, 1906, in Rochester, Fulton County. He graduated from Akron High School, in 1924 and General Electric Apprentice School, in 1928. He held various positions with G.E., retiring with 43 years of service in 1971. He retired as Manager of Manufacturing Administration in the Specialty Transformer Department, Fort Wayne. In retirement, he was active in Methodist Fund Raising, Kiwanis Clubs in Indiana and Florida and was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. His life revolved around his family and the Methodist Churches in Waynedale, Fort Wayne and Auburndale, Florida. He placed much emphasis on family and enjoyed playing bridge and scrabble and travel.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Faye (Parkison) Fultz of Huntington; sons, Jack Fultz of Florissant, Missouri and Tim Fultz of New Haven; daughter, Betsy (Steve) Simmons of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Robb (Kim) Fultz, Jennifer (Brian) Redmon, Molly (Jeff) Etherington, Jim (Chris) Fultz, Greg (Chris) Fultz, Andrew (Ellen) Simmons and Libby Simmons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Marion and June Gertrude (Robbins) Fultz. Service was Wednesday, July 28, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
