Rite of Passage

I explained to Lulu what a rite of passage was. She lost her first tooth today. I thought that you in Waynedale should take the “pleasure” of seeing the hole in her mouth!!‑ Feel like celebrating?? Oh well, you grandmothers know what I mean. Whilst I was at it, and had the camera out, I took a picture of both my granddaughters. They are both beautiful, no matter what lies ahead, or what struggles await them. For today, they are beautiful, funny, romping, playing and laughing children. What a blessing they are. I would not change a thing if I could. . We are indeed fortunate. I know that fate holds many more surprises in the years ahead, but as long as they stay alive and healthy, as my brother, Bob said, we are indeed the luckiest people in the world. So many people don’t have the blessing of children and grandchildren. Some have lost children.

I am so looking forward to seeing my hometown again. Waynedale, as I have told you many times, is the best place in the world!

Many blessings,

Mae
