EDNA V. (NICHOLSON) MYERS, 92

EDNA V. (NICHOLSON) MYERS, 92, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, in Indianapolis. Born January 24, 1912, in Fort Wayne, she was a lifelong resident and retired in 1971 as a cashier and hostess for Baer Field Restaurant. She was a member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church and the Nine Mile Ladies’ Aid Society.

Surviving are her daughter, Jane (David) Meats of Noblesville; son, Byron (Janis) Nicholson of Fort Wayne; step-daughter, Marsha Lawson of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; three great-grand-children; and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Adam Nicholson, in 1968; second husband, Gail Myers, in 1976; and son, William Nicholson, in 1990.

Funeral service was 10:30a.m. Saturday, March 13th at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Calling was from 4 to 7pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Nine Mile Cemetery.

Preferred memorials to Nine Mile United Methodist Church or Calvary United Methodist Church.
