ETHEL E. “CONNIE” SUMMERS, 85

ETHEL E. “CONNIE” SUMMERS, 85, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, January 10, 2004, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. She was born September 6, 1918, in Ossian, and worked for General Electric, retiring after 24 years of service, in 1981. She attended Westridge Baptist Church, Fort Wayne. As a child of God she shared her faith and love with those who came into her life.

Surviving are her son Steven J. (Jane) Summers of Fort Wayne; daughters Sharon Kay (Steve) Pruitt of Fort Wayne and Sue (Steve) Gotelli of Antioch, CA; sisters Martha Lantis of Owosso, MI and Edith Dettmer of Fort Wayne; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Evan J. Summers, he died May 1, 1984. Service was 10 a.m. Thursday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.

Burial at Williamsport Cemetery, Poe, IN. Memorials to Westridge Baptist Church, Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, or Christian Athlete National Conference Center.
