D. NORMAN ELLIS, 75

D. NORMAN ELLIS, 75, died Sunday, January 4, 2004 at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was an Operating Engineer with Brooks Construction, retiring in 1993. He was previously employed with Hipskind Asphalt Company. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post #241, Local 103 Operating Engineers Union, and St. Michael Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife Donna Ellis of Fort Wayne; sons Terry D. (Lisa) Ellis and Steven G. Ramsey both of Fort Wayne; daughters Sandra R. Ramsey and Tanna L. Ramsey both of Fort Wayne; sister Junine Travis of Kendallville; grandchildren Adam Ramsey, Morgan, Darby, Tatum and Katerine Ellis.

Preceded in death by brother Ned Ellis.

Services were held on Thursday, January 8 at D.O. McComb & Sons, Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd. Entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to St. Michael Lutheran Church.
