THREE RIVERS CROCHET GUILD
We meet at Michael’s Craft Store, at Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center in the Crafting Class Room right by the entrance of the store. We welcome crocheters at all points of skill or beginners who want to learn. There is no fee to join us. We meet from 7p.m. – 9p.m. on the second Monday of each month. VETERAN’S MEMORIAL SERVICE
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (formerly known as the V. A. Hospital, 2121 Lake Ave., will have a Memorial Service in honor of the Veterans who have passed away from October through the end of December, 2003. If you know of a Veteran’s name who has passed away in this time period, call: (260) 426-5432, Ext. 1413, and it will be read in the Bell Service portion of the Memorial Service. All are welcome to attend. The service is January 17, 2004 at 1 p.m. in the V. A. Hospital Chapel.

AGING AND IN-HOME SERVICES WORKSHOPS
What: Almost Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Nursing Homes, But Were Afraid to Ask

EDWARDS
PRODUCTION
AUDITION PLANNED
Edwards Productions is having a mass audition. It is scheduled on January 4, 2003 at 7pm, at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory. This will be the only audition date for all of their winter/spring shows. They are looking for over 75 actors for the first three shows for their 2004 season. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! They are also looking for anyone interested in Two by Two, Spoon River Anthology, or Wally’s Cafe. Edwards Productions is very excited by the offerings and opportunities for their actors and actresses and also for anyone interested in behind the scenes! Auditions will consist of getting to know Edwards Productions and their processes, meeting the auditioners, reading a small section of a play, and for those interested in the musical, and singing 16 measures of a song. ABOITE LUTHERAN CHURCH ANNOUNCES NEW SERVICE TIMES
Aboite Lutheran Church, 10312 Aboite Center Road has changed service times. Services now begin Sunday at 8:30am, 10:15am, and Monday at 7pm. Kids Konnection (Sunday School) begins at 10:15am Sunday mornings. Nursery care is offered for infants through 4-year olds for all services.

WANTED! VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST SENIOR CITIZENS
The AARP Tax-Aide program needs your help in assisting Senior Citizens to prepare their Federal and/or State of Indiana Tax Returns. After training by an IRS Instructor, the counselors are assigned to a site in Allen County. We ask the volunteer to work forty (40) hours during the tax season (2 February to 15 April 2004). PAGEANTS TO BE HELD AT SOUTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL
The Miss Fort Wayne Scholarships for Women program will sponsor these pageants March 5, 2004 in the South Side High School Performing Arts Center: Little Miss Fort Wayne (ages 6 to 9), Miss Pre-Teen Fort Wayne (ages 10 to 13) and Miss Teen Fort Wayne (ages 14 to 16), all open to Allen County residents or students of dance or gym schools in Allen County who reside elsewhere.
