MARJORYE M. BAYLOR, 96
Marjorye M. Baylor, 96, died Saturday at Ossian Health Center. Born in Winchester, Tennessee, Mrs. Baylor had a lifelong concern with public education and served on the President’s Commission on Education twice while living in Washington, D.C. and ended her teaching career in Fort Wayne at South Side High School, retiring in 1975. She was a member of The American Association of University Women, Pi Beta Phi Sorority and The Fort Wayne Women’s Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Baylor in 1974. Survivors include daughters Marjorye Rehm of Ossian; Beverly Kelso of Barrie, Ontario, and two grandchildren. Private entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery. Arrangements through Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel.
