SCOUTING SMOKE SIGNALS
Scout Troop #38, sponsored by Calvary United Methodist Church, 6301 Winchester Road, recently held their annual Halloweeny Roast and Bonfire at the SouthWest Conservation Club on Bluffton Road. Every Cub Pack in the Waynedale area was invited to come out and enjoy free hot dogs, chili, and a hayride compliments of the troop. Like they say back home, “A Good Time Was Had By All,” in spite of the occasional drizzle. Here’s one of the scenes from their successful Boy Scout recruiting efforts. We think the picture says it all.
