FLOYD ERVIN EREXSON, 75

September 3, 2003 The Waynedale News Staff

Floyd Ervin Erexson, 75, died August 14, 2003 at Lutheran Hospital. ‑Born in Fort Wayne, he was a long time employee at Henderson Reed, retired in 1993 from Champion Seed as a salesman, and most recently has worked for Lanternier-Vesey Florist. ‑He was a member of the American Legion, Fellowship of Christian Magicians, and Avalon Missionary Church. ‑He and his wife were involved in Christian Chalk Ministries for 15 years. ‑He was preceded in death by a sister Edith Freeman.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Elizabeth Erexson, Fort Wayne; son Clayton Wayne (Marilyn) Erexson, Fort Wayne; sister Mary Jo Fisher, Fort Wayne; brother Byron Erexson, Fort Wayne; grandson Eric Erexson, Fort Wayne; Granddaughter Melinda (Joe) Rice, Fort Wayne; Granddaughter Amanda Erexson, Fort Wayne; and Great Granddaughter Ivy Rose Rice, Fort Wayne.

Services were held Monday, August 18, 2003 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. ‑Memorials to Avalon Missionary Church or the Kidney Foundation.
