MARY W. SALYER, 79
Mary W. Salyer, 79, died Thursday, December 21, 2002. A native of Kentucky, she was a cashier at the Airport Restaurant for 20 years; she retired in the late 70’s. She was a member of Avalon Missionary Church. She enjoyed gardening and antiques. She loved her family, the outdoors, and the lake. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Salyer who passed away in 1986.
She is survived by daughters Judith Griest, Ossian, Indiana; Phyllis Boger, Fort Wayne; friend Melvin Spaw, Fort Wayne; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, December 27, 2002 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials to Hospice Home of NE Indiana or Parkinson Foundation.
