WALTER H. SCHERSCHEL, 86
Walter H. Scherschel, 86, died Monday, October 21, 2002 at Hospice Home of NE Indiana. A native of Fort Wayne, he was a machinist at General Electric for 40 years and retired in 1978. He was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club and he enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Scherschel who passed away in October 1999.
He is survived by daughters Sondra Case, Monroeville; Linda Lengachor, Butler; son John Scherschel, Fort Wayne, 5 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, October 25, 2002 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice of NE Indiana.
