CAYLOR-NICKEL CLINIC WELCOMES NEW SURGEON
Caylor-Nickel Clinic, P.C. is pleased to welcome James R. Stone, M.D., general/vascular/thoracic surgeon to their staff. He joins George Babcock, M.D., Claire Scheele, M.D., and Marika Krech, PA-C, in our Surgery Department.
Dr. Stone is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Forensic Examiners and Forensic Medicine. He has more than 20 years of experience as a surgeon. Dr. Stone completed residency in general surgery at St. Joseph Hospital, Denver, CO, in 1983; Flexible Medicine Internship at Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore, MD, in 1979; A.M.A. Fifth Pathway at Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore, MD, in 1978; and he received his medical degree from Autonomous University of Guadalajara Medical School, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in 1976.
He performs “standard” general surgery procedures as well as lung and esophagus surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, and pancreatic surgery. Dr. Stone is a Fellow, American College of Surgeons; Fellow, American College of Chest Physicians; Fellow, American College of Critical Care Medicine; and Fellow, American College of Angiology.
