ELEANOR L. “POLLY” HUTCHINGS, 80
Eleanor L. “Polly” Hutchings, 80, of Waynedale, died Tuesday, December 11 at Lutheran Hospital. She was co-owner of Waynedale Sportsman Shop and Hutch’s Shoe Repair for more than 40 years. A native of Bristol, Tennessee, she was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church and enjoyed watching soap operas and spending time with her family. A sister, Katherine Cole, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Reece Hutchings, Waynedale; daughters Roberta Lavoie, South Bend; Pamela Frane, Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, December 15 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Waynedale United Methodist Church.
