Indiana’s early migratory bird hunting seasons will be announced in late July.‑ Waterfowl seasons will be announced in late August.

INDIANA HUNTING AND TRAPPING GUIDE AVAILABLE
Guide includes applications for reserved hunts – Aug. 4 is deadline for dove hunt applications Indiana’s 2003-04 Hunting and Trapping Guide is now available at many sporting goods shops, retail stores and DNR properties throughout the state.
The free guide includes information on hunting and trapping season dates and regulations, as well as applications for reserved hunts.
The first reserved hunt application deadline is Aug. 4 for dove hunts on DNR properties.‑ The reserved dove hunts are held each year starting the first two days of the mourning dove season, typically Sept. 1-2.
