LOU ANN CHAPMAN, 62
Lou Ann Chapman, 62, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Covington Manor Nursing Center. A native of Fort Wayne, she worked in food services at South West Allen County Schools. She retired in 1996 after 21 years. She was also employed at the Indiana Auto Auction. She was a member of the Roanoke Eastern Star and Rebecca’s Lodge and taught Junior Bowling for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Chapman who passed away in 2001 and by son Dean Chapman who passed away in 1998.
She is survived by her mother Berniece Matthias, Fort Wayne; daughter Ronda Chapman, Churubusco, Indiana; grandson Justin Chapman (son of Dean Chapman), Arkansas; sister-in-law Sally Shriner, Huntertown; and brother-in-law Bill Chapman, Woodburn, Indiana.
Eastern Star Service and Rebecca Lodge Service were held Friday, May 30, 2003. Burial services were held Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Justin Chapman Education Fund.
