VICTOR H. HOOPENGARDNER, 69
Victor H. Hoopengardner, 69, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, August 9, 2003 at his residence. Born December 3, 1933 in Fort Wayne, he was a 1952 graduate of Elmhurst High School and was a Mfg. Manager at D & N Micro Products for 13 years and at Magnavox for 37 years. He was also a Youth Baseball coach for 18 years, a P.A.L. football coach for 16 years, a YMCA basketball coach for 12 years, and a Quarter Century Club member of the Magnavox Activities Association.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Liggett) Hoopengardner; sons Michael L. of Fortville, Richard A. of Louisville, Ky., Gary L. of Olive Branch, Miss., Brian K. of Churubusco, Steven R. of Fort Wayne, Gerald R. of Covington, GA, and James E. Doylestown, Ohio; daughters, Susan M. Bradburn of Leo and Tracey A. Graham of Churubusco; and 14 grandchildren.
Service was held Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials to Police Athletic League and Cancer Services of Allen County.
