EAGLE SCOUT COURT HONORS FELICICHIA

Stephen Felicichia of Troop 344 was inducted into the rank of Eagle Scout on October 14, 2003. Scoutmaster Bob Rainwaters convened the Court of Honors, with the presentation of colors and the Pledge of Allegiance. Pastor Mike Harris, Waynedale United Methodist Church, gave the invocation and Stephen was escorted to the seat of honor.

Stephen’s parents, Robert and Joan, were brought forward and Joan donned the Eagle Scout pin on Stephen’s uniform. All other Eagle Scouts in the audience were asked to come forward as Stephen recited the Scout Oath. Stephen is hoping to get into West Point to further his education but will not know if he has been accepted until January or February of 2004.

A plaque was sent from Mayor Graham Richard commemorating the occasion. Mark Souder, Evan Bayh, and Dick Luger also sent congratulations. Assistant Scoutmaster Gary McOmber closed the Court and guests were invited to stay for refreshments at the post Court of Honor celebration.
