UNIVERSITY OF SAINT FRANCIS RECOGNIZES ANGELA CONROY, HOMETOWN YODER, INDIANA
The University of Saint Francis Office of Co-Curricular Activities recently recognized students who significantly contributed to the campus through involvement and leadership in various clubs, organizations and projects.
Angela Conroy, from Yoder, Indiana, was the female winner of the Anthony D. Moore Outstanding Leader of the Year Award. The award is presented to one senior man and one senior woman who exhibit outstanding leadership and involvement in student life and whose contributions have enriched the University of Saint Francis community. Angie received $250 and her name was engraved on a plaque that is on display in the Student Center.
Angie will graduate Saturday, May 2nd with a Communications degree and minors in Business Administration and Speech. Her academic excellence is evidenced by the fact that she is part of the John Duns Scotus Honors Program. Angie worked on the student newspaper, Paw Print, all four years and served in the leadership position of Assistant Art Director. Angie also led hundreds of incoming students as part of her role as the Orientation Team Co-Chair and served as both secretary and president of the Public Relations Society. A representative of the University of Saint Francis campus, Angie served as an Ambassador for the Admissions Office for four years and assisted students as a tutor in Student Academic Support Services. She is active both locally and in her home parish.
