SAFFORD, CHARLES W., 74, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, October 1, 2004. He was a retired salesman, a Marine (1946-1948), and a member of American Legion Post 241. He loved yard work.
He is survived by his wife Gloria, daughters, Karna Espich, Janey Byram, Sandra (Jeff) Crider, and Kristi Safford, and a son, William Safford, all of Fort Wayne.
Service was Monday, October 4, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road.
The family received friends and relatives on Monday, October 3 and 4, at the funeral home.
