WAYNEDALE MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
When: Memorial Day-Monday, May 30
Line up at 8am
Parade starts at 9am
Where: Parade line-up begins at the Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church Street.
Parade route follows down Old Trail Road from the church to the cemetery.
Sponsored by American Legion Post #241, SW Conservation Club, AmVets Post #33, Fraternal Order of Eagles #248, VFW Post #1421, & The Waynedale News.
Military Ceremony at Prairie Grove Cemetery following the parade.
Food, refreshments, free fishing for kids 12 and under, will follow the ceremony at Southwest
Conservation Club on Bluffton Road.

NEW HORIZONS BAND
What: Invitation for you to come blow your horn. If you do not have a horn but want to play one, they will help you.
Where: Crescent Avenue Methodist Church
Who: Directing the band is retired music instructor John Morse. Morse directed programs at Elmhurst HS. He also served as third French Horn with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic
The Fort Wayne band meets twice a week. The New Horizons band is open to any adult who wants to make music. If you’ve never played an instrument before but want to, New Horizons will teach you.

CITY’S YARD WASTE RECYCLING NOW OPEN

Cost: Biosolids are $8 per ton, less than a ton, $5
Biosolids and mulch are free if customers load it themselves.
