FLAG ETTIQUETTE WINNER LINDLEY 4TH GRADE STUDENT HAYLIE MARDEN

On October 8, 2005, at the American Legion Fall Conference at Indianapolis, Haylie Marden, a 4th grade elementary student from Lindley Elementary School, received a plaque and a certificate for a $500 savings bond as the girl winner of the flag test program.

American Legion Post 296, 130 West Tillman Road, sponsored the contest. Approximately 26,000 4th grade students participated. 4th District Flag Etiquette Chairman from American Legion Post 296 -Larry Thiele and Indiana Department Commander Ron Martin were available to present the award.
