HANNAH L. BEERMAN, 82
HANNAH L. BEERMAN, 82, of Fort Wayne, died peacefully Sunday, January 28, 2007, at home. She was born on September 14, 1924, in Wells County. She had worked at General Electric during World War II, then after marrying and having a family she went to work at Bellmont Trucking Company, where she worked until retiring. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was fond of hats and generally wore one whenever she was out gallivanting, which she loved to do. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and dogs, Baxter and Ishi. An avid bridge player and was a member of her bridge club for 60 years.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her son, Paul L. (Ann) Beerman of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Paulana Beerman and Paulette “Peachie” (Jerry) Rauner, both of Fort Wayne and Patty (Les) Martz of Angola; sister, Shirley (Jones) (Harry) Bell of Bluffton; and five grandchildren, Ashley, Jerica, Garrett, Lindsey and Matthew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Beerman; and sisters, Beulah (Jones) Farrell and Audrey Jones; and half brother, Casey Jones.
Service was Saturday, February 3 at Elzey Patterson & Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial in Poe Williamsport Cemetery.
