MARY M. HOFER QUACKENBUSH, 90
MARY M. HOFER QUACKENBUSH, 90, of Yoder, died Thursday, February 1, 2007, at her residence. Born April 24, 1916, in Fort Wayne, she was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Yoder. She worked at Lincoln National Life Insurance Company for 21 years, retiring in 1978 as an Underwriter processor. She was an Associate of Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.
Surviving are her sons, William H. (Juliana) Quackenbush of Fort Wayne, Harley D. Quackenbush Jr. of Fremont, Thomas E. Quackenbush of Lapel, and Richard D. of Quackenbush of Yoder; daughter, Susan G. Weller of Fort Wayne; brothers, Joseph Hofer and John Hofer, both of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley David Quackenbush, in 1979; three brothers; and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, February 6, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder. Burial in St. Aloysius Catholic Church Cemetery, Yoder.
