CLASS LEADERS OF 2007

Elmhurst

Valedictorian Christine Moser, daughter of Denise Emerson and granddaughter of Clyde and Connie Moser and Renie Williamson, plans to attend Taylor University-Upland Campus with a major in Chemistry/Premed.

Salutatorian Kimberly Green, daughter of Jeffrey and Jean Green, will attend IPFW, majoring in Biology. Green hopes to return to Elmhurst as a Biology teacher for the school.

Graduation ceremony for Elmhurst High School, Class of 2007 is scheduled for Thursday, June 7 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Expo at 8 p.m.

 

Bishop Luers

Kevin Schwartz, the son of Mary and Dennis Schwartz, earned the title of Valedictorian.Kevin will be attending Indiana University in the fall with a pre-med major. His GPA was 12.255 on a scale of 12. He attended St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School and was an avid soccer player and wrestler. He is Wendy’s High School Heisman Nominee, Indianapolis Star All-Star Winner, Sterling Sentinel Nominee for Journalism, a member of the Honor Society and an Eagle Scout.

Brian Barker’s 12.130 Grade Point Average won him the Salutatorian honors at Bishop Luers High School. He has been accepted at Purdue University as a Computer Science major. Brian was involved in tennis, the Key Club, National Honor Society, Freshman Mentor, and the Academic Super Bowl placing 3rd at state level on the math team. He graduated from St. John the Baptist Elementary School. Brian is the son of Ann and George Barker.
Bishop Luers High School graduation ceremony was held on Friday, May 18, 2007.

 

Southside

Valedictorian Noe Flores, son of Andrea Jaime Flores, plans to study pre-med at Depauw University.

Salutatorian Kenneth Aschliman, son of Dave and Kathy Aschliman, plans to attend Columbus College of Art and Design, majoring in Fine Arts or Illustration.

These two students remembered fondly their friendship and participation in band and jazz band.

Graduation ceremony for South Side High School, Class of 2007 is scheduled for Thursday, June 7 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Expo at 5 p.m.

 

Wayne

Valedictorian Natalie Eileen Collar, daughter of Jenny Graham and Stanley Collar, plans to attend Manchester College and major in mathematics.

Alina Renee BigJohny, Salutatorian for the 2007 Wayne High School senior class, will deliver a farewell message to friends and family at the Commencement Ceremony held on Wednesday, June 6 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Expo at 5 p.m. She is the daughter of Polly and Robert BigJohny. Alina plans to attend college at Manchester College and her major is undecided.
