ANNA MAE JACKSON, 89
ANNA MAE JACKSON, 89, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, June 29, 2007, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born May 13, 1918, at Cleveland, Ohio, she was a member of American Legion 296 Auxiliary. She worked in the office at the Azar’s Commissary from 1957 to 1972 and then worked at GTE North Cafeteria, retiring in 1982.
Surviving are her son, Dave A. Peek of Fort Wayne; daughter, Carol A. Gerding of Fort Wayne; sister, Agnes Louise Crall of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Dawn Maze, Theresa Deventer, Tracy Behrer, Bill Gerding, and Todd Cross.
She was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Heather Gerding; and brother, Harlan F. Forschner.
Funeral service was Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
Visitation was Monday, July 2, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
