ALICE L. WHALEN, 71

ALICE L. WHALEN, 71, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born March 21, 1936, of Richland County, she was a homemaker and member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, George Whalen; daughter, Marilyn (Wayne) Erexson of Fort Wayne; son, David Whalen of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Dillion; and brother, John Beck.

Funeral service was Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was Friday, October 5, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
