THUMBS UP TO GE VOLUNTEERS SAINT THERESE RECEIVES GRANT
St. Therese received a $1,500 grant from the GE Volunteers to purchase new book totes and refurbish the existing book totes.
Book totes are bags that are sent home weekly with students in grade K-2. Each bag has a book and some kind of manipulative inside.
The goal of the book totes is to promote reading at home. Thanks to the grant we were able to purchase 15 new totes and refurbish about 50 of the existing book totes with new books and or manipulatives.
Thanks GE Volunteers! We are having fun with our new book totes!
