A WARM ENGLEWOOD INTRODUCTION

Dear Waynedale Community,

It is such a privilege and blessing that I have been called to serve as Administrator for Englewood Health and Rehab! It is great to be back at home in Fort Wayne!

A little bit about me: I was born in Fort Wayne and raised in New Haven, IN where I graduated from New Haven High School in 2004. I actually started my healthcare career in 1999 at a local nursing facility in New Haven where I developed my passion and love for this line of service. I worked in the Activities and Dietary departments until 2002 when I obtained my Certified Nursing Assistant certification at Ivy Tech Community College. I continued working as a C.N.A. for three years before joining the team at the Parkview Emergency Department from 2005-2010.

In 2010, my wife Lyndsay and I explored opportunities in Indianapolis and relocated to serve at Indiana University Health’s University Hospital, historically known as IU Med Center, where we spent seven years. During those seven years, we started our family and were blessed with two sons, Cayden & Carter, now seven and three.

In 2017, while I had enjoyed the last seven years at IU Health, my heart was telling me that I needed to pursue my dream to become a Health Facility Administrator. I was very fortunate to become connected with TLC Management, Inc., who afforded me the ability to go through the Administrator-in-Training program. During the twelve month program, I served at four of our facilities in Indiana where I was provided with the education and training needed to build on my past experiences to become a licensed Administrator!

During the coming days, I ask that you take a moment and stop by my office or stop me in the hallway and introduce yourself to me. I would love the chance to meet and greet with you and listen to your comments and concerns. I am committed to ensuring that our team at Englewood provides exceptional care and customer service for each resident. It is my goal to create a family oriented, home-like environment in which each resident will be treated with kindness and compassion. I look forward to meeting with you and I want to thank you for entrusting us to care for you or your family. If you have any questions or just want to talk, please feel free to give me a call.

Kind Regards,

Chris Adams
