STORIES OF AMERICAN VETERANS

A Christian writing club at the Waynedale Public Library, 2200 Lower Huntington Road meets every month on the fourth Tuesday (no meetings in December).

Recently author, Kayleen Reusser, announced at one of the writing club meetings that she will be launching her most recent book, They Did It for Honor: Stories of American WWII Veterans. It contains 34 stories of men/women from every branch who served, mostly from the Fort Wayne area. Approximately a dozen veterans from the book have accepted the offer to attend the launch and sign books.

The launch will be on Saturday, Nov 4, 2017, from 1-3pm at Allen Co. Public Library downtown, meeting room C.

The public is encouraged to meet and thank these, some of our area’s oldest veterans, for their service. Books will be available for purchase and to have the veterans sign. The books are also available on Amazon.
