MOUNT CALVARY LUTHERAN INSTALLS PASTOR NATHAN WHITTAKER
Pastor Nathan Whittaker was installed as the Senior Pastor for Mount Calvary Lutheran Church on Sunday, July 30th. Pastor “Nate” Whittaker is a recent graduate of the Lutheran Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He is married to his wife Tricia. They have two beautiful daughters Rachel, 4 and Elise, 18 months.
Pastor Whittaker is originally from Arroys Grande, California but most recently resided in St. Louis. He received his B.A. from Ohio State University and his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary. He is in the final stages of earning his Ph.D. from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
Pastor Nate’s installation was celebrated with a combined morning worship service followed by a congregational carry-in dinner. The Installation was held later that afternoon at 2:00 PM. Rev. Dr. Daniel Brege, First Vice President of the Indiana District, officiated the Installation. Area participating pastors were Rev. Randall Glander, Rev. Dr. Dennis McFadden, Rev. Paul Spira and Rev. Jerrold Nichols.
Mount Calvary, 1819 Reservation Drive, is looking forward to having Pastor Nate as their shepherd and excited in continuing to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the community.
