JAMES KREG CLEVENGER, 73
JAMES KREG CLEVENGER, 73, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Lutheran Hospital. Born on March 28, 1934, in Fort Wayne, he was a Fort Wayne police officer for 20 years, and worked at City Utilities for 15 years. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Police. He served in the U.S. Army, and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Nevetta Joyce Clevenger of Fort Wayne; son, Joey Kreg (Kathleen) Clevenger of Guntersville, Alabama; daughter, Betty (Lavon) Snyder of Fort Wayne; brother, Robert (Norma) Clevenger of New Concord, Ohio; and grandchildren, Ashlee, Andrew, Austin, Bronson, James David, Madison, Jessica, Kirk and Lucus.
Service was Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Visitation was Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
