LEFTFEST: THE BILL OF LEFTS ON AUG. 13

Leftfest 2015 Lois w caricatureIt was back in 1976 when the Bill of Lefts was first proclaimed. At 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 13 the Bill of Lefts will be read from the Born Again Quilts patio at 4005 South Wayne Avenue.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy living in a “lefty world” for the day.

You may enjoy a left-handed complimentary cookie, try your left hand at corn hole, the trivia contest that stumped everyone last year, so you may want to bone up on your knowledge of famous lefties. If you want to showcase a special talent, you are more than welcome to do so. Speaking of bone, once again we are giving a helping southpaw to the Allen County SPCA by conducting a patio sale.

If you get to feeling a little peckish, southpaw owners of the Friendly Fox Dan and Matt will be more than happy to put their culinary talents to work for you.

If you act quickly you can go to the LeftFest Fort Wayne Facebook page and get your tickets to join us out in left field for the evening TinCaps game that includes fireworks. The game starts at 7:05pm…. After all what is more “southpaw” than baseball?

If you have questions, you may post them on the LeftFest Fort Wayne Facebook page or contact me www.bornagainquilts.com or 260-515-9446.
